The Lobster Stomper is a versatile and cozy all-mountain cruiser built for freestyle focused riders who split their time between the park and the mountain. The Lobster specific 3D base profile and directional twin shape make this a great all around ride.
Soft / Playful
Hard / Aggressive
Fast, fun, and versatile. these boards are the best way to get down the mountain with effortless float, high speed stability and top end performance.
The nose and tail have a 3D shape with the uplift starting at the end of the contact area. The 3D advantages are increased by the SideKick™.
Our unique 3D shape allows us to put full tip-to-tail traditional camber this makes for a more poppy ride: ollies go bigger, edge-to-edge switching goes faster and the board is always loaded to absorb landings.
WOODCORE - CORE CORE
A blend of poplar wood reinforced with two central hardwood stringers to enhance pop reinforce the camber and strengthen the insert area.
GLASS FIBRE - TRIAX
Our three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern.
BASE - HYPER GLIDE S
Our standard sintered base that’s tough and fast, and faster when waxed.
SIDEWALLS - FLEXWALLS
Urethane infused Flex Walls. The added urethane helps dampen vibrations.
This Carbon Layup configuration delivers the side flex of your bindgs to the woodcore in a more direct way. Adding more feeling in transitions and when pressing.
SideKick™ increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, enhances float in powder and improves board handling in rough terrain. It has to be ridden to be believed!
This board has 3D technology in the nose and tail.
This is a great board. It rips on the ice and hard pack. Really sweet graphic and shape. Great customer service.
Just home after my first day on the mountain with the Stomper (158W). I was pushing hard the entire day and it responded really well. The board gobbled up the early morning groomers and held nicely on the icy hard pack. It handled everything I threw at it, totally exceeded expectations. No noticeable chatter and the stiffness felt just right. Super fun and playful...zero complaints. This might just be my new #1.
I forgot to ask for a discount because I’m the terrain park manager at a small ski hill in Wisconsin. But I don’t even care. IT CAME WITH a WHOLE STICKER SHEET MY GUY. Like I’m talking STANDARD 8.5 by 11 inch piece of paper/w STICK——MFing—-ERs.
I WILL be purchasing ANOTHER ripping board from LOBSTER 🦞 very soon.
So I went from riding stiffer boards and wanted something that had some flex and boy did I ever get that without giving up stability everywhere else. This board is absolutely stunning and and have got nothing but compliments. This thing rips all over the hill I feel unbelievably comfortable in all conditions especially bombing. My complaints with the board are for one its heavier then I expected and my biggest is my first day it had stress cracks in the noise and a big chip that uplifted in the tail kinda really crappy since its the first rip but its a board. The side kick is so narly though can kick over an edge in spots I would have never have done with my previous board. I bought the 161w size 13 boots need the w.
Like most reviews here, this is a great board. I have one from last season, with the PlayStation art on it. The triple base technology is fun to mess around with and the heavy weight of the board makes it very stable at higher speeds. However, the weight is also a problem for me. It’s so freaking heavy, its heavier than any other board I compare it with at the park. It makes it difficult to rotate quickly and be dynamic. Trying to be playful when weighed down is rather hard. Keep this in mind when buying this board.
